18G 40/60 - 3120 is an 18-gauge stainless steel double-bowl kitchen sink, about 30.8 by 19.5 inches with bowls 7.5 and 9 inches deep. The bowls split 40/60, so the larger side takes a sheet pan. A sink wants to be about three inches narrower than its base cabinet, so this one needs a 36-inch sink base.
About 18G 40/60 - 3120
A brass or zinc body under a plated finish — the finish is what you live with day to day, not the metal underneath it. The color is filed as Stainless. Finish is undermount.
We cut and polish the opening in the stone for it, set it, and reconnect the plumbing while we are already under your counter. It is one of 8 colors we stock from the Double Bowl Kitchen Sinks range.

How it meets the countertop
The mount type decides what we cut, and what you see every day.
This is an undermount sink, and that is a decision about the stone rather than about the sink. The opening is cut to the bowl and its edge is polished, because with the sink hung underneath, that cut edge is what you see and what your hand runs over every day. There is no rim sitting on the surface, so crumbs go straight into the bowl instead of catching on a lip.

Size
Figure on a base cabinet of at least 33" — the rule of thumb is bowl width plus about three inches for the cabinet sides. We measure your actual run at template rather than trusting the rule.
- 30 3⁄4"x19 1⁄2"
Two bowls
Two bowls under one rim. The measurement is the pair, not each side — a useful thing to know if the reason you are buying a big sink is a roasting tray.

Questions about 18G 40/60 - 3120
Answered from this fixture’s own catalog attributes — nothing generic.
How does 18G 40/60 - 3120 mount?
Undermount — the deck stays flat and unbroken, and the bowl is clipped up underneath it. Worth knowing before you shop: the mount is a decision about the countertop as much as the sink, and a laminate top cannot take one. This one measures 30 3⁄4"x19 1⁄2" across, so it wants a 33" base cabinet.
How many bowls does 18G 40/60 - 3120 have?
An offset pair, split 40/60. You get one bowl big enough for a sheet pan and one narrow one for the disposal, which is closer to how a kitchen actually gets used than two equal halves are. The pair measures 30 3⁄4"x19 1⁄2" across, so it wants a 33" base cabinet.
What is 18G 40/60 - 3120 made of?
Steel, 18 gauge, with sound-deadening pads underneath the bowl. Thickness is what you are really buying in a stainless sink: a thin one flexes under a full pot and rings under the tap, and no amount of finish hides either. On a bowl this wide the gauge is doing real work — there is a lot of unsupported span under your hands, and it is the difference between a sink that feels solid and one that gives.
