Free in-home quoteAbout Black Quartz Single Bowl 2418
Engineered quartz: roughly 90% ground quartz mineral pressed with resin and pigment. Non-porous, so it never needs sealing — and the same resin is why a pan straight off the burner is a bad idea. Color family: Black. Finish is undermount.
Dark surfaces hide crumbs and show dust, water spots and every streak of a dry cloth. Pick your poison.
We cut and polish the opening in the stone for it, set it, and reconnect the plumbing while we are already under your counter. It is one of 9 colors we stock from the Quartz Single Bowl Sinks range.

How it meets the countertop
The mount type decides what we cut, and what you see every day.
It sits under the stone. That makes the cutout a finished edge rather than a hidden one: we cut to the bowl, polish what will be seen, and support the sink from below. The daily difference is that the countertop drains into the sink instead of stopping at a lip.

Size, depth, and the cabinet under it
The numbers off its own spec line, and what each one constrains.
Size
Figure on a base cabinet of at least 27" — the rule of thumb is bowl width plus about three inches for the cabinet sides. We measure your actual run at template rather than trusting the rule.
- 24 1⁄4x18 1⁄4"
Depth
A shallower bowl, which means less bending to reach the bottom and less room to hide a stack of plates. On a vanity that is the right trade; in a working kitchen it is a real one.
- 8 1⁄2"

Questions about Black Quartz Single Bowl 2418
Answered from this fixture’s own catalog attributes — nothing generic.
How does Black Quartz Single Bowl 2418 mount?
It hangs under the counter. That is the version worth paying for if you wipe the counter more than you look at it: there is no rim in the way. It does commit you to a stone or solid-surface top, since the cutout edge is exposed and has to be finished. This one measures 24 1⁄4x18 1⁄4" across and 8 1⁄2" deep, so it wants a 27" base cabinet.
How many bowls does Black Quartz Single Bowl 2418 have?
A single bowl — no divider. It is the layout that has quietly taken over kitchens, for the simple reason that dishwashers made the second basin redundant and oven trays never fit in one anyway. The bowl is 24 1⁄4x18 1⁄4" across and 8 1⁄2" deep, so it wants a 27" base cabinet.
What is Black Quartz Single Bowl 2418 made of?
It is molded quartz composite rather than sheet metal or fired clay. Solid color through the body, noticeably quieter than steel, and hard enough that day-to-day use does not mark it. Dropping cast iron into it from height is still a bad idea. This one is black all the way through — on a molded sink the color is the material rather than a finish over it, which is why a scuff never shows a different shade underneath.
